2019 Brain Bee at IUPUILocation: Lilly Auditorium - IUPUI University Library
The International Brain Bee aims to motivate high school students to learn about the brain and inspire the pursuit of careers in neuroscience research. The IUPUI Department of Psychology sponsors the Brain Bee as part of the School of Science’s commitment to advancing scientific minds, and fostering community interest in the sciences.
Open to students in grades 9-12, contestants in the spelling bee style event answer questions about the brain and nervous system until a single student remains, having answered all questions correctly.
Winners will receive a Dean of Science Scholarship to study any science major at the IUPUI Purdue School of Science! The first place winner will receive airfare and hotel for them and a parent/guardian to attend the National Brain Bee.
Registration is open. You are able to start learning and studying now! All questions will come from the free Brain Facts book.
Prepare for the Brain Bee
Optional (free) study sessions will be held on November 9, 16, 23 and December 7. Location TBD.
