Faculty Position in Organic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology at IUPUI invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in organic chemistry to begin August 1, 2020. The position is open to applicants from all areas of organic chemistry.

Position Details

The position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in organic chemistry. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related discipline along with relevant post-doctoral experience. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain an externally funded program of research, and to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We especially seek candidates whose research interests can support and expand the department's efforts to complement campuswide interdisciplinary research programs in the life and health sciences, including ongoing collaborative efforts with the IUPUI School of Science and the (on campus) Indiana University School of Medicine.
